okay! finally found time to type out all this egypt nonsense, i really hate all these blogging nonsense, its like, if u start blogging, u start talking less.

u saavy? because youre like really talking to yourself. but for the sake of showing the whole world egypt. ive decided to make an egypt blog to

educate everyone!

anyway.. i have really so much to say.. i have to say that ive really lost touch with the world.. singapore.. cnn news.. bbc news.. newspapers!! yes im really interested into all these.. and all my fortune magazines.. time.. business news.. politics.. saddam.. bush.. blair.. i hate being uninformed about all these stuffs going on in the world.

todays friday.. i touched back down in singapore on 25th december morning.. i think at like 8+ in the morning the plane landed..

the day before.. wednesday(egypt is 6 hours behind us)(still in a touring mood. really miss all of my tour group members), we woke up at 7am.. we stayed at hotel intercontinental. but there was really a lot of hotel switching, ill go to that later.. okay. we woke up at 7.. then after like washing up, bathing and all.. and yes i have to bathe every morning no matter what.. one day i bathe like 3 ,4 times in singapore one! on a normal school day.. okay enuff of getting the point across that im damn clean LOL.. damn bhb!stop it brandon

oh yar.. and i really go off topic damn well.. i can talk about something and go off track until a totally whole topic!! its like a really bad disease.

a good example.. this is what my friend said: 'see.!frm julia,to his maid,to his family's tear glands, whats next'..

limmy:'tears are from tear glands which is near the eyes, they are caused by immediate and sudden spring of emotions'

okay back to the egypt trip. hmm where was i. oh shit i totally went off track!! was talking about we woke up at 7.. then washed up bathed and all. then we all went for breakfast. set off. went to see mohammad ali's palace or something. then there was this enclosed area was he was buried..he prepared it for himself.. went to see some other touring places here and there, photos and stuff, oh yar! sorry. i think its was mohammad ali's mosque or palace or both or something, i have really short term memories. lucky have photos.i think we took about like 800 plus to 900!!. hm yar then after that we went to this place where, erected, were those long pillars or obeliques what u call them, in shapes of pencils.. so that was our meeting point. we had like 45 mins to shop only at that place. coz we had to set off to leave for airport by latest 12:30pm kinda thing.. had to be there by 1am. becuase we have to be 2 hours there before the flight, partly because of the tremendous, thorough checks, procedures i suppose.?

yar..

the bazaar was great. and by bazaar i mean 'egyptian shopping places'. its like their selling market..they sell along the streets and stuff, they dun have like heeron, takashimya all those, actually i guess in Bahrain, Cairo they do have, in the really modern cities, but we didnt really get to go shopping there. so we had to make do with bazaas.. yar. and they dont really have designer clothing, branded clothes, shoes and stuff there, u would be mad to be looking for hugo boss, mambo and all that over there!

so at the bazaa they had lotsa clothes, food, u could see pple eating by the sides, with their trademark egyptian bread. its a bit like roti prata and u know the indian bread..? called i forgotten already.. but however dun be fooled by its looks, its definetely not tasty at all!

horrible in fact, we tried it so many times trying to convince ourselves like ' no its okay.. just bear with it and eat! ull get used to it soon and it'll be a super delicacy soon', however that didn't really work out, perhaps we chinese are justnot born to be fans of their egyptian food, and vice versa.

at the bazaa, my father also bought lotsa food stuffs, like their 'flagship fruit? lol'dates.. like dates with almonds and stuff, my dad bought 5 or 6 boxes. and at bazaas there are no fixed prices.. okay. the conversation rate if im not wrong is 1 egpytian pound --> 1/6.2 US pounds.. or 1 egyptian pound--> 2.6 singapore dollars.

yar so for a box of dates they sometimes wanna charge like a really high price, then after bargaining they will bring it down.
btw, did i mention that my mum and dad are super bargainers.? with thousands of years of experience.. my mother and grandma are quite a pair at it together too, at korea last time i remember? they nearly drove the handbag shop owners crazy.. yea i still rememebr the owners really looked like backstreet boys so we gave them names like howie d..kevin all that respectively! hahah!! i dunno whether there was kevin la! some other bsb member i think, forgotten the name, but i think there wasnt any guy there who looked like nick. so it was howie d.. and dunno what!!

yar!! and in the end we kinda made friends with the handbag shop pple in korea ahhaha. coz we kept going to their shops.. buying their stuff, bargaining and all that, i guess they were really warm pple and all who werre not those super out for money kinds but nice guys!.. i was still young then, perhaps also a bad judge of character? i think im a pretty good one now

hahaha yar.. i think no one would wanna read this, i keep going out of point, damn irritaitng, but quite fun actually.. im the kinda person, once i go on with something i can really branch to so many diff stuffs. its so long already! 3/4 of shit and 1/4 of egypt i think.. theres really so much more i have to type in about egypt. fans of egypt who actally bothered to read this far, stay on!! i dun wanna lose u guys, even.
