okay! finally found time to type out all this egypt nonsense, i really hate all these blogging nonsense, its like, if u start blogging, u start talking less.

u saavy? because youre like really talking to yourself. but for the sake of showing the whole world egypt. ive decided to make an egypt blog to

educate everyone!

anyway.. i have really so much to say.. i have to say that ive really lost touch with the world.. singapore.. cnn news.. bbc news.. newspapers!! yes im really interested into all these.. and all my fortune magazines.. time.. business news.. politics.. saddam.. bush.. blair.. i hate being uninformed about all these stuffs going on in the world.

todays friday.. i touched back down in singapore on 25th december morning.. i think at like 8+ in the morning the plane landed..

the day before.. wednesday(egypt is 6 hours behind us)(still in a touring mood. really miss all of my tour group members), we woke up at 7am.. we stayed at hotel intercontinental. but there was really a lot of hotel switching, ill go to that later.. okay. we woke up at 7.. then after like washing up, bathing and all.. and yes i have to bathe every morning no matter what.. one day i bathe like 3 ,4 times in singapore one! on a normal school day.. okay enuff of getting the point across that im damn clean LOL.. damn bhb!stop it brandon

oh yar.. and i really go off topic damn well.. i can talk about something and go off track until a totally whole topic!! its like a really bad disease.

a good example.. this is what my friend said: 'see.!frm julia,to his maid,to his family's tear glands, whats next'..

limmy:'tears are from tear glands which is near the eyes, they are caused by immediate and sudden spring of emotions'

okay back to the egypt trip. hmm where was i. oh shit i totally went off track!! was talking about we woke up at 7.. then washed up bathed and all. then we all went for breakfast. set off. went to see mohammad ali's palace or something. then there was this enclosed area was he was buried..he prepared it for himself.. went to see some other touring places here and there, photos and stuff, oh yar! sorry. i think its was mohammad ali's mosque or palace or both or something, i have really short term memories. lucky have photos.i think we took about like 800 plus to 900!!. hm yar then after that we went to this place where, erected, were those long pillars or obeliques what u call them, in shapes of pencils.. so that was our meeting point. we had like 45 mins to shop only at that place. coz we had to set off to leave for airport by latest 12:30pm kinda thing.. had to be there by 1am. becuase we have to be 2 hours there before the flight, partly because of the tremendous, thorough checks, procedures i suppose.?

yar..

the bazaar was great. and by bazaar i mean 'egyptian shopping places'. its like their selling market..they sell along the streets and stuff, they dun have like heeron, takashimya all those, actually i guess in Bahrain, Cairo they do have, in the really modern cities, but we didnt really get to go shopping there. so we had to make do with bazaas.. yar. and they dont really have designer clothing, branded clothes, shoes and stuff there, u would be mad to be looking for hugo boss, mambo and all that over there!

so at the bazaa they had lotsa clothes, food, u could see pple eating by the sides, with their trademark egyptian bread. its a bit like roti prata and u know the indian bread..? called i forgotten already.. but however dun be fooled by its looks, its definetely not tasty at all!

horrible in fact, we tried it so many times trying to convince ourselves like ' no its okay.. just bear with it and eat! ull get used to it soon and it'll be a super delicacy soon', however that didn't really work out, perhaps we chinese are justnot born to be fans of their egyptian food, and vice versa.

at the bazaa, my father also bought lotsa food stuffs, like their 'flagship fruit? lol'dates.. like dates with almonds and stuff, my dad bought 5 or 6 boxes. and at bazaas there are no fixed prices.. okay. the conversation rate if im not wrong is 1 egpytian pound --> 1/6.2 US pounds.. or 1 egyptian pound--> 2.6 singapore dollars.

yar so for a box of dates they sometimes wanna charge like a really high price, then after bargaining they will bring it down.
btw, did i mention that my mum and dad are super bargainers.? with thousands of years of experience.. my mother and grandma are quite a pair at it together too, at korea last time i remember? they nearly drove the handbag shop owners crazy.. yea i still rememebr the owners really looked like backstreet boys so we gave them names like howie d..kevin all that respectively! hahah!! i dunno whether there was kevin la! some other bsb member i think, forgotten the name, but i think there wasnt any guy there who looked like nick. so it was howie d.. and dunno what!!

yar!! and in the end we kinda made friends with the handbag shop pple in korea ahhaha. coz we kept going to their shops.. buying their stuff, bargaining and all that, i guess they were really warm pple and all who werre not those super out for money kinds but nice guys!.. i was still young then, perhaps also a bad judge of character? i think im a pretty good one now

hahaha yar.. i think no one would wanna read this, i keep going out of point, damn irritaitng, but quite fun actually.. im the kinda person, once i go on with something i can really branch to so many diff stuffs. its so long already! 3/4 of shit and 1/4 of egypt i think.. theres really so much more i have to type in about egypt. fans of egypt who actally bothered to read this far, stay on!! i dun wanna lose u guys, even.

THIS SECTION HAS A LOT OF INFORMATION!!
okay.. then after the bazaar we went to the airport already.. all the procedures, nothing much at the airport. except that i was really sick. usually i didnt feel sick in the afternoon and morning but the fever would come back at night, but that day was horrible. yar then had lotsa medicine and stuff, then went on the plane, before that my dad bought some sandwhiches, which were really expensive.. airport stuff all damn ex one! yar and also, my appetite was relaly bad, all i wanted to do was lay my head down and drift away, i wanted to sleep so badly so i could get away from the horrible inner feeling and the pain and damage the fever would have done to me. as if not bad enuff, i didnt just have fever to hand alone, fevers wouldnt just come by itself to me.. i would ALWAYS(is the word) have a bad sore throat 1st then the fever would come in for the kill.. yes, kill. it was really trying to kill me la!! i think i had such a bad sore throat because my sister kept offering me mars bars and all those heaty stuffs la!! and my mother made milo for us in the morning and brands essence too. and i guess because of the winds at alexandria, the place near cairo, well not really near, like 3-4 hours by coach(not my bowling coach!, that horrible michael wong), at alexandria, it was also sight seeing, we took quite a lot of pictures of the mediterranien sea.. and the winds were REALLY, as in really strong, u wun believe how strong it was. the trees were like so poor thing, like hey my roots are like gonna get ripped off really soon already! they were like slanted like mad la, and the unforgiving sea lashed out at its surroundings, coz there was this sight seeing place, really beautiful and all, it was along the coast of the med. sea. so we all took pictures there and all, and from time to time like woah!! the water would fly at us and then like suddenyl wet wet liddat!! then we used our tongue to taste it was like eh salty one!! dammit! kinda thing. hahah.. yar hey and quite pain leh, u can imagine.. like water, being blown at really high velocities and strong winds, can be really painful too, and sometimes gravel, and sand here and there, can fly at you too. but its not like dangerous la like later u gonna hammerred and beaten by the winds and stuff and what face kena cut by the sand and stuff. nothing of that sort! but i really hate alexandria because its very cold!!.. its seriously horrible. the wind is mad. it blew 2 of my underwear away, i left them out for hanging at the balcony.. even tied a string to bind the hanger and the balcony railing together!!! surprisingly, i had hung like 2 pairs of underwear and a pair of socks, and the weaker and lighter looking sock actually survived LOL!!!!.. damn suay la! we had like 3 or 4 casualties! my father also went to hang some of his underweears and some also flew away!!!
then like next morning my mother were like making fun of us la. like hey skully we driving along the road then see you all's underwear, we all roared out in laughter la!! hahaha. yar, and also. when i came back to the hotel then saw like eh what the !! how come only my socks left! then i went to my fathers room to ask him whether any of his stuff flew away also and he was like hahah!!!! my underwear also flew away!! LOL! that day was like totally underwear-ish la!.. 3 cheers of blown away underwears!!. damn funny!!! something always to think back and laugh about, yar?

oh ya.. the tour was really hectic too.. its like, sometimes we had only 5 hours of sleep kinda thing, the 1st day was okay, had lotsa sleep, we had dinner at 5:30pm!! we didnt tour that day, well, coz it was the 1st day! yar went to this really horrible egyptian restaurant. where when u went in, u would see the chefs all like throwing food into the oven and stuff, they have really big ovens u know? haha, in egypt they havea lot of beef, button, chicken, fish, its mad, their food is damn horrrible la cant stand it.. like all grilled and all that, damn heaty and bad for healthy, plus i was sick, so was also extra selective as for food, i drank lotsa water!!

oh yar!! also the weirdest part! i drank the most water in my family!! easily like 4 litres a day kinda thing, and i was the only one to fall sick! 1st time!. and also.. there are really so many details to type out.. i really cant imagine finishing it.. coz so many new thoughts keep coming up, and im so tired already.. plus!! we took so many pictures and i wanna share them man, but there are like 800-900 of them!! btw: i have a very bad online sending habit, once i send something i keep sending sending sending!!>. online chatting can seriously be an addiction at times and im busy in the day so i come online at night usually . im gonna stop all these online nonsense in sec 4 already!

oh yar!! did u know that in egypt, the roads all that, are like so packed? little wonder the tour guide said that if u can drive in egypt, u can drive anywhere else, very true.. also, it can perhaps be a bit hectic, or dangerous if u didnt know how to handle the roads. but he said that we were safe! because the driver was damn pro. like used tobe a pilot and all, and many years of driving experience in egypt, its so hectic because halfa million pple from like the surrounding islands and places come in and out of egypt everyday in the morning and night, causing especially heavy traffic then. its quite interesting.. note that it is not in order har, these events that im typing out.. too many things happened for like the day 1 day 2 kinda thing.. and far too messed up in my brain! already messed out enuff. hee.oh yar, we had this tour guide for a while. from ginger tours, i think an egyptian tour agency.. he always came to meet us every now and then.. on the 1st day he was kinda the who told us about egypt.. there were 2 actually. his name was ishal or something, the other one, was everybodys favourite.. turned out to be, at least.

before that he was like so boring! the 1st day we touched down at egypt after like 15+ hours of flight, the flight to cairo will always be.. singapore--> bahrain. about 2 and a half to 3 hours flight kinda thing, depending from plane to plane or pilot to pilot i dun tihnk it will fly straight to cairo one, it willalways have to stop by at bahrain, like a check point, its also a part of egypt.. so the 1st day we touched down and stuff, tired and all, then we handled all the airport admin stuff. also. tipping is a part of egypt too. some of the pple who actually wait outside toilets and stuff may really be in desperate straits kinda thing, but some are really lazy, like jsut begging for money, the 1st time in egypt i got asked for tips was at the airport. when we reached cairo airport, then went toilet. then i happened to be alone! and the cleaner guy, with the blue airport toilet cleaner shirt, 1st thing he saw me was like hi! then shake hands and all.. then i went to pee and wash hands, one thing to note, everyone whos going egypt next time, watch out for their tactic!! anyone who has gone to egypt will tell u this, they will like wait for you with tissue paper, they will like help u take and all that, then when u take already they will a bit like want u to tip them.. however, if u really do tip them, just give them 1 egyptian pound. bet u guys didnt know that the average egyptian earns like 200 egyptian pounds a month or something. less than one thousand one pounds one la thats all i know. even if 1000 pounds in spore its like only 260 bucks.. a month. thats why in egypt, the men all damn poor thing, if u marry, the woman will always have advantage, if u divorce she will like get most of the money , thats why few egyptian men wanna divorce, and perhaps wanna marry also! and because of some of legal reasons la, forgotten already, our tour guide told us, he's egyptian and married and all, in fact both our tour guides were married, from ginger tours, we also sat on the ginger tour bus, however, our travel agency was ANANDA TRAVEL. its like a joint thing. i mean when travel overseas the travel agencies must contact each other to plan the itinery and tour and stuff mah, so we had like 3 tour guides. however ishal came only a few times.. the last few days he was therea lot though, and also habibi.. habibi means my love in egyptian! his name was like issham or something.. but his nickname was edge or something.. but no one actually called him that la, he was like whole day habibi habibi! this and that, and also claled our group that, to like also diffentiate from other groups, like habibi pls 'came' here! that kinda thing, yes, his english is really relaly horrible.. he can be like.. 'this song very nice, but my voice no good for SONGING..' like i and my mother and sister whole day making fun of his english !! he also uses things like.. so many horrible mistakes!! like present tense become past kinda thing..he also says that ' the journey is very tall!'.. and also like ' i hope i interest your time!' that kinda thing!! ddamn funny!!. but besides that its quite okay la.. and his english a bit mumbling one.. so u must really relaly listen to make out what he is saying.

Note: i typed all these in intervals of many hours! like when my sisters friend came over to see the photos and stuff, and my whole family was in my room, coz we uploaded it to the computer, and viewed it as a full screen side show! woo cool! and we kinda relived the egypt moments.. i actually really enjoyed the place, i would have enjoyed the place 10 million times better ifi had not fallen sick .. and it was on the 3rd day somemore!! before lunch all that i was okay, after lunch and stuff, on the coach then things began to go terribly wrong!! my sore throat was so bad that even when i swollowed saliva it wasa living torture, and couldnt even sleep in the bus, coz it was just the road back to cairo, on the 1st day we touched down in cairo.. very 1st day la, from singapore.. then 2nd day it was some sight seeing here and there, then we headed for alexandria, a place near cairo, wel not that near,3-4 hours coach! and that place was really cold. plus the super strong winds, i talked about it a bit in the earlier parts right? coz it actually followed the weather of the mediteranean sea.. very fluctuating. it could like rain, have sunshine, so on and on.. on and off on and off in like really short periods of time, it could rain for like 5 mins kinda thing, then have sunshine then there was this place, it was the biggest library in the world, countries all over the world like america and stuff contributed a lot of money to the building of the library, intended to be the largest in the world. egypt is known for having lotsa wonders of the world. largest library in the world many hundreds or thousands of years ago! however the old one we also visited, it was like totally stone. as in service , justa bit of a tourist attraction, they let u see how its like at the place. doesnt even look like a library lah pls! but it was the largest last time. u know, its like those kinda stone materials like an ants nest, that kinda sandy rock material? yar?we actually took a lot of pictures in there what. hmm really sleepy. i think ill continue tml yar.
